Clayne Crawford return to TV, from FOX’s “Lethal Weapon”.
Marking his first TV role since his very public departure from FOX’s “Lethal Weapon” series last year, actor Clayne Crawford has signed on to star in the June installment of Hulu’s horror anthology series “Into the Dark”.
Boasting movie-length episodes, the twelve-part series will roll out each installment monthly with episodes centering on a holiday contained within said month.
Crawford will be in the Father’s Day-themed episode, ‘They Come Knocking’, which finds the actor playing a recent widower who takes his two daughters on a road trip where he finds his family in the crosshairs of terrifying supernatural entities. Josephine Langsford, Robyn Lively, Lia McHugh and Dwight Hicks co-star.
Crawford was written out of “Lethal Weapon” last spring following very public spats between him and co-star Damon Wayans and allegations about his on-set behavior. He was replaced in the third season by Seann William Scott.
